People First. Purpose Always.

HR Media brings together recruiting expertise, HR leadership and government experience to help mission-driven organizations build stronger teams and stronger futures.

Built From Experience on Both Sides of the Hiring Table

HR Media & Co. was founded on a simple belief: the people you hire can change the future of your organization.

Founder Judith Ojo knows that because she has experienced hiring from multiple perspectives. She has worked as a recruiter finding talent, an HR executive responsible for people and organizational strategy, and a government leader navigating complex workforce challenges.

That experience led her to build the kind of firm she believed organizations needed: one that listens before recommending, treats recruiting as a strategic responsibility and never loses sight of the people behind every decision.

Meet Judith Ojo

Recruiter. Leader. A different kind of search partner.

Judith did not enter executive search by simply opening a recruiting firm. She built HR Media after doing the work herself.

Her career has included recruiting and HR leadership as well as experience with the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Census Bureau and New York State government. That background gives her a practical perspective on hiring, workforce strategy and the realities facing public-sector and mission-driven organizations.

It also influences the questions HR Media asks.

What does this organization really need from its next leader? What will make someone successful here? How will this hire affect the team? Does the candidate have the judgment and adaptability to lead through what comes next?

Those questions help turn recruiting from a transaction into a decision about the organization’s future.

Why HR Media Exists

Because Work Has Changed, But People Still Matter.

HR Media was created to challenge HR and workforce models that feel transactional, outdated or disconnected from the people they are meant to serve.

As technology, AI and workforce expectations change, organizations need to adapt. But progress should never come at the expense of human connection.

Our approach puts people at the center while helping organizations build the leadership, skills and systems they need for the future.
